How We Present Plans and How We Are Compensated

The Site and Service do not charge visitors a fee. Some Providers shown on the Site have agreements with Texas Insurance Ratings pursuant to which Texas Insurance Ratings receives a fee from those Providers when consumers enroll in the Provider’s service after using Texas Insurance Ratings. This compensation is one of many factors that can cause those Providers to appear in our Featured, Sponsored or Recommended portions of the Site and/or affect the placement or order of Providers’ appearance in search results and comparison features on the Site. Other such factors include the plans’ prices, what we believe to be the quality of the Providers’ content, the variety of Providers’ plan offerings, Providers’ reviews and ratings, Providers’ deposit policies, Providers’ fees, and other factors that we believe are useful. Some Providers also pay us to place advertisements on the Site.
